Charmaine grew up on a farm in the UK to a family of very little means. Humble beginnings had its daily challenges, the embarrassment of queueing up for a free school lunch ticket was just one of them. She learnt resilience, positive mindset, and the skill of reframing situations.
Desperate to make money, at 11 she took up a weekend job in a local Farm Shop and quickly learnt that understanding other people made a difference in how we communicate, impact, influence, persuade and motivate others to buy. She learnt how you are in charge of your results, how to be accountable.
Quickly it dawned on her how so much of selling was actually ‘simple’ (smiling, being interested in other people, your intention to assist them, be genuine, make the interaction about them and not about you).
To follow was then 20 years of high-level sales where she excelled with unpreceded results. Since 2009 she has run her own training company sharing with others the simple formula for high performance and success.
Charmaine has trained thousands of professionals in her 27-year career. She believes sales is fundamentally good communication and exceptional customer service skills combined with operating with a headspace of being commercially minded – and to do all this with integrity.
All Smarter Selling’s training programs have been developed (and trademarked) by Charmaine and are always evolving as communication evolves. Her burning desire to empower others to be confident in embracing the word ‘sales’ infuses each event she undertakes. Her speaking engagements are engaging, fun, interactive and highly practical. She makes it easy for you to sell and your customer to buy.
On her talks you learn how to be seen as the trusted advisor. You know how to engage in such a way that you are ensuring you have recognised (and created) all the opportunities to be of service to that customer. You know who to be in front of, you know what to say and how to say it.
She is also a trainer of NLP (how we operate), Hypnotherapy (unconscious communication) and Time Line Therapy (recognising your baggage and the baggage/beliefs of your customer).
Charmaine has worked with over 4,000 people and assisting them in understanding how to bring in commercial thinking and if they have a team – how to cascade that through to them so everyone is confident and empowered to embrace selling, accountability and results.
Charmaine addressed our event of 70+ business owners with professionalism and ease. She made it fun to be in sales, made it easy to sell and showed them how to make it easy for their customers to buy. Very down to earth and funny she gave them practical tools to drive more sales. She had come highly recommended from someone on the speakers circuit- and immediately it became clear why. Thanks again for joining us at our Business Acceleration Quarterly Conference Charmaine. I can safely say the entire team and all the guests thoroughly enjoyed the talk!Sonia Irani, Max My Profit
