Suzi Dent is a high energy, charismatic speaker, motivator and personal development coach.

Specialising in the areas of personal growth transformation adn self-esteem mindset, Suzi helps women and men empower themselves and realise their dreams by introducing them to the power of YES.

A successful business owner, entrepreneur, presenter and mentor, Suzi has freelanced in the world of film and TV as a make-up and hair artist and self-esteem builder for 34 years.

She started with the first specialised bridal hair and make-up agency in Sydney in the early 90’s, which quickly became the biggest in NSW, employing 23 other professional artists and she then went on to win several state awards for her hair and make-up work.

She is also a bit of a mad scientist and in the late 90’s created and manufactured a natural cosmetic range called base cosmetics.

Running all departments from product development, advertising, sales and marketing to website building and expos, Suzi is well experienced in small business and the mindset of the self-employed.

From 2007 to the end of 2012, Suzi Dent was the principal make-up artist and interview coach for EAZintuit seminars which were run exclusively for Job Service Providers on the Gold Coast. EAZintuit was a three day seminar designed to motivate and provide personal development skills to women aged 17-64 who have been out of the workforce for various reasons.  Often these women came from disadvantaged backgrounds and were challenged with depression and anxiety.

Suzi leads a lifestyle that involves fitness and community involvement.  From a young age she was swimming every afternoon to become a high school swimming star, achieved her Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s award, whilst in high school, which has a high emphasis on community service and at the young age of 46, Suzi studied anatomy, physiology and dance to become a qualified dance fitness Jazzercise instructor.

Ageing with a positive mindset and helping other to recognise and remove their self-sabotaging, anti-age thinking is how she lives her life.  Specialising in the areas of personal growth transformation and self-esteem mindset and in the true spirit of practise what you preach, Suzi recently transformed herself from a lifetime tomboy to a frock and heals wearing international beauty queen at the young age of 55.

Representing Australia against 36 women from around the world, half of whom she could have given birth to, Suzi came third runner up, didn’t fall of her high heels and came home with the title Mrs Earth Health, proving her favourite saying: “age is just a number, it’s what you do with it that counts!”.  She did it all for charity and to help saver her husband from his battle with depression.

Suzi Dent is the host of the live talk show that I produce, The Couch Outloud. These shows are scripted, but also require the host to be able to improvise.
